General Questions
- Why a pro-choice webring?
Because when I started this ring a few years ago, there wasn't
a webring for people to express their belief in a woman's right to choose. I
am doing it to connect people in this vast web-verse.
- How do you define pro-choice?
I define pro-choice as someone who believes that it is a
woman's right to choose to carry a pregnancy to term, keep the
resulting child, give that child up for adoption, or abort the pregnancy.
Over the years and viewing of other sites who have joined this ring, I
expand my definition for the ring to things like smoking (as long as
you don't harm others), choosing to practice birth control, and men's
ability to choose to either have a vasectomy or to donate sperm.
- Do you accept adult content sites?
I can't say yes or no. It really depends, but there are
minors in this ring and the ring is not listed toaccept adult sites. So
email me and I'll look at your site. Honestly...I probably will say no. But
ask anyway. If it has pornographic photos, I most likely will say no...if it
is erotic stories, I might say yes. It's my ring and my call.
- Didn't you have the ring on Webring?
Yes, I did. That's where the original Pro-Choice Webring
started and is still there (althou, someone else rusn it now). When Yahoo!
took over Webring it was ok...then they took away a lot of my control
(graphics, emails, etc) and I was fed up. I took my site from Geocities
Yahoo! and the ring from Webring Yahoo! and to RingSurf (totally happy
with).
- Did you know that you are going to hell?
Hard to tell that to someone who doesn't believe in Hell.
I live my life in a way that I believe does not harm others and allows for
people to make their own life choices. Go ahead and tell me to go to
Hell or to find Jesus...I don't really believe in either of them. Jesus...I
think may have actually lived...but his current incarnation thru
mainstream religion is not one that I would want to have in my heart. My
idea of Jesus is a man of love and forgiveness. He is a man who let his
people make choices and did not judge others harshly. <*end religion
rant*>
Help with the HTML code
- Can I change the HTML code to fit my page?
Of course you can. There are some parameters though...Please
have at minimum the NEXT link and the link back to the Pro-Choice Webring
homepage. If you go here,
you can see a variety of codes that I have already worked out. Feel free to
design your own. I won't add you to the ring unless I feel that the code is
properly done.
