Earlier this year Andrew was on our local PBS news show, Chicago Tonight. Miss Ella was super excited and thought somehow he was IN the TV or something. Anywho, he let us know he would be on again last night. We got dinner ready in enough time to watch the show and wait. And wait. And wait for the segment to roll.

Miss Ella was again super excited, but alas, the shine is gone. After the first time the camera panned away from Andrew she went to her room. I explained that he'd be back on soon. "Call me and I'll run really fast." And off she went to work on one of her many projects made of glue, paper, markers, puffy balls, and pipe cleaners in her room. She did run back to the living room a few times when I'd yell, "ANDREW!" It was pretty cute.

Of course, seeing our dear friend on TV rock the show wasn't as old hat for the hubby & me. The hubby could be heard saying, "That's it...Way to nail it!" I gotta say that I love that we can watch local news shows with the same excitement (obviously less yelling & dancing) that we watch baseball & football.
