The problem with doing things with Ella is that when I decide to take a day to focus and have her spend time with her grandparents, people question it. And not in a bad way. It's kinda like she's an accessory, but not so much. It's more that people see her with me so much in so many different venues that when she's not with me, I think people are disappointed.

The hubby said tonight that we're raising her exactly how we thought we would. She'll never know a life without letter writing, phone banking, canvassing, meetings, or rallies. I said, "Just like a Kennedy!" Then we went on to name all the "but withouts..."
