the proof is in the pudding, or should I say the photos?

Is a Raider fan allowed to be so cute?

Can you believe this was taken after a 2 hour dinner?

So what did our sweet Miss Ella do yesterday?
As soon as I put her down on the floor at daycare, she hugged J. *smile* Personally, it was the damn cutest thing I've ever seen. J was playing somewhere else and I don't even remember him crawling over to her. I put her down, looked up, looked down, and BAM! HUG!
I had the hubby look and he gave Ella "THE LOOK." He's got this look of disapproval that makes you feel like you are 5 and got caught in the cookie jar. It was too funny! Of course, J's mom and I are all like, "Awwww..." and the hubby is fuming. Gawd, her teenage years are going to be a riot.

When Miss Ella began daycare her room had just three girls. The hubby called them the Pink Ladies, mostly because one of the girls aways wore pink. Now a lil boy has joined the room. He's older too. Twice Miss Ella's age at a whopping 10 months.
The past few days each time we go to pick her up, the teacher has a new story to tell us. "Ella and J were pulling each other's hair. They were petting each other's heads. They were fighting over a toy (Ella won btw)." This has set off the hubby's overprotective gears about 10 years too early.
It's really funny to see the hubby make "don't-go-near-my-daughter" eyes to a ten-month-old boy. Or as he calls him, "That hippie boy!" J's parents appear to be letting his hair grow out until his first birthday as his hair is quite long. And beautiful I may add.
I can only laugh when I try to imagine what the hubby will be like when Miss Ella actually does develop a crush on someone and someone develops a crush on her.

Miss Ella is growing up far too fast.
Exhibit one: She's sitting up on her own. No need to prop this grrl up. She can almost get to sitting on her own. Give her a few more weeks.
Exhibit two: She's teething like freakin' crazy. Everyone's expecting a tooth any day. Gah!
Exhibit three: She can climb her crib. She used her bumpers & crib aquarium to stand UP in her crib over the weekend. AAHHH!!
Exhibit four: She clearly snubbed her daddy this morning for the arms of her mommy. *shaking head* This is worrisome since I'm headed to DC at the end of the month and I'm leaving Miss Ella at home with Daddy.
Thru the crankiness, the snubbing, and the growing pains, she's still the cutest lil thing I've ever seen. Thus...
I have a growing addiction to shopping for her. I seriously cannot go into a Baby Gap or Children's Place without leaving with something for her. I got a gift card for Target for Christmas and I have to use every ounce of strength I have to NOT buy her something with it, but to buy myself some much needed clothing items. She did get a gift card for Gap that I cannot wait to use, but I must. She has plenty of clothes right now. I can always use it for cute summer outfits. But I can't wait!!
