Is it really wrong for me to check July 28th? Not like I'd be at the game anyway, but just curious. Especially if my dad's gonna be in town. It'll be nice for him to be able to catch a game while waiting for the grandbaby to arrive.

The only question is how little is too little for the baby's first game? Yes, I'm serious and yes, I'm insane. *giggle*

Pagan Parenting

I think the biggest fear I had about getting pregnant was how were we going to raise this child? It goes farther than the city v. suburbs issue. It's about the fac that for once, we really have to face that the hubby is Catholic and I am not.

He may not attend service, but each morning he prays to his god and each night he ends his day praying to his god. I am not in a coven or even in a loose group of pagans, but I talk with my goddess. I'm just starting to get into a routine with a simple prayer ritual.

Now that I'm pregnant, I'm even more scared. But I'm also hopeful. I respect his love for his god and he respects my love of the goddess. I figure that if a Jewish mom & a Christian dad can do it (they must be out there somewhere!), then we can too. We believe in the same basic ideas, we just put a different image to our deity.
